Put a cable Pull-Pull system on and covered rudder. Covering for wings and fuse is 21st Century Coverite. more expensive than monokote, but gives that real fabric look....and easier to handle!!!
Cowl, pants and skirt are next to finish up.
Plan calls for Saito 90, but I`m putting in a 100....never to much power!!!just don`t want to way over-do it.

Thanx
It`s really not that hard. Funny thing , after I got this far on the stearman someone gave me and old Sterling PT17 that was rode hard and put up wet. I mean there were ribs broken out of the wing, fuse ribs busted, old fuel tank with about 6 0z. of old fuel from about 30 years ago.....yuck I stripped it completely down and made all repairs. The old pt 17 kit is really a cheapy compared to the midwest Stearman...I reinforced the ribs with cross members, reinforced the stab and rudder..replaced rotted wood...to make a long story short...it is starting to look pretty good too. Got the Coverite sky blue and lemon yellow covering...30 ft for the wings and 15 feet for the fuse. that stuff is 51.00 for 1 15 ft roll......had to buy enough for both planes...200.00...ouch!!!... I have a whole mess of kits for sale...one you might want to try is called the Hot Kanary that has staggered wings...( reversed positions)..LOLOl i have too many going at once.I also have a gorgeous Jemco F6F Hellcat on the bench too..almost completed...If you really want to try a 1/6 bipe, the Midwest Super Stearman is easy to build and very easy in wing construction and alignment. Only thing is to rmember to keep the tail as light as possible...I will post more pix of both planes after winter is gone.
Other planes I have waiting are a Pica FW-190-D, VK Nieuport 17, Jemco PT 19, AAMco aerommaster and a Champion "Stampe" Bipe. and quite a few more.If you`re interested check out my ebay items....under name of Musicgod001 you may see something you like.I`ll be selling over a period of time so as to not flood the market......Auf Wiedersehen!!
