I purchased this beauty from Rob Schaffer of Lansdale, PA. The day before my birthday Don Sassaman and I trekked halfway to Lansdale from the DC area to pick it up. Rob was willing to meet us halfway. I like accomodating people like Rob.

He really outdid himself when building this from the kit. It is exquisitely assembled, covered in period colors and scheme. Covering used is Ultracote Light.

Power is supplied by an E-Flite Power 25 outrunner swinging a 12X6E APC propeller. ESC is an E-Flite Dual BEC 40A affair, servos are Hitec HS-81 (3) and the RX is a Hitec 555. Battery pack 3S3P 6A Thunder Powers. AUW is under 3.2 lbs.

The way it is described above is the way I purchased it; came supplied with everything but the TX, even the crystal in the RX matched one of my Futaba 8 "S" transmitters.

It is a three channel model spanning 57" in wing. The third servo is used for banner, parachute and or sailplane towline release. If I may say so, this model is a superb flyer. It flies as good as it looks.
