2010 I-net fly-in
Thought I would be the one to kick this off.

I think we should keep it the same every year. This will help to make the event grow. Plus I think it's the only weekend available that we can have free raign over the 72 band frequency.

Let's just keep an eye on the AMA calendar, when they announce the 2010 Nat's date, we go after the weekend before that. I would guess around the 18th.

I have already put things into motion...
Currently have the required letter from David (Wreckerman2) for use of name for 2010.. The 'dates' will be Fathers Day weekend as that is only weekend available.. The request for the site has already been put in as it is on a first come first serve basis.. For the past 2 years, the I-net has fallen on the same date as the cancer survivors walk in my hometown. I'm suspecting that it will happen again for 2010. I have already promised that I would walk with/for my wife next year as it will be the third anniversary of her surgery. (I arranged for a proxy this year.) Hopefully, the event will conclude around noon on Saturday, and the trip to Muncie is only 2 hrs. (plenty of flying time left) My wife could sign my "tardy slip". hehe
