With only 7 registered so far, beside myself, that makes the odds pretty good, huh?

June is a real busy month with Spadfest, XFC, RCH fly-in, and EAC Huckfest. Gas prices will probably eliminate Spadfest and maybe EAC...So it might be that I go to the two that are in my state.

They'll draw out 6 7/8 before they get my number out of the hat.

btw Stan, I've been looking at the 1/4 scale BUSA Fokker D-VIII. Have you had any experience with that kit?

I don't have any experience personally, but investigate the Hoosier Dawn Patrol's website, and Yahoo group. Those BUSA kits were very popular amongst several of the guys. This group represents some really great award-winning builders & fliers. (I'm the exception, hehe)

Dawn Patrol website is pretty cool. I just spent about a half hour there looking through all the pilots and photos. Looks like the Fokker DR-1 and 1/3 scale Sopwith Pup are pretty popular planes, but there were a couple Fokker D-VIII's to look at ... Thanks !

This reminds me...Jase and I went to a Big Bird Fun Fly last summer. They had the raffle drawing during the most busy flying times of the day. Jase and I decided to walk over to the anouncers booth (which was blocked from spectators view with a tarp) to watch them draw names and see if we had won anything. We watched as they sorted through the names and picked only there club members names to win prizes...unbelievable huh! I can honestly say I have never seen anything like that before

Ya that sucks... that is why if you have a big spectator crowd you start a 50/50 drawing for spectators only.
