Aeroplane Dance

Earlier on I was having a look on iView - (Catch-Up TV from the Australian Broadcasting Commision) - and I came across a programme called "Aeroplane Dance" so naturally I had to have a look.

It's about an American bomber that crashed in outback Australia in 1942, and about the survival and search that took place.

The Aboriginal people at the time created a song and dance about it. This documentary shows it being acted out in more recent times. It has some interesting historical footage woven in.

Try http://www.abc.net.au/iview/#/docs and find Aeroplane Dance. It was shown on TV a few nights back and so will only be available via iView for about another 12 days before being delted.

I enjoyed it. It's worth the watch. Hope you can find it. (Oh, it's an hour programme)
