Scales ---
Out at the field this morning one of the fellows who I have been spending a lot of time with lately helping him out a bit, Moe walked up and handed me a package then mubbled something about a thank you.
Inside was this really nifty little electronic scale. Well he had heard me talking about getting one to suppliment my old fruit scale and he got a pair and one for me too as a thankyou, how cool is that I was flabbergasted. I have owned the heavy cast iron ballance beam fruit scale since I was a kid on the peach farm and use to sell peachs out the back road in a fruit stand. I just sort of hang onto it all these years and always used for my airplanes. It actually is really versatile for weight control but its big heavy and ya have to pull it out each time. The little electronics are so cool. Has a power supply but I want to keep it right up in the corner of the work bench on batteries so I can just pull over on every whim and weight up different engines, servos and etc. Always be a bonehead on weight and kinda picky, So this is a nifty and usefull little surprise and a very nice thank you.
