I am asking for your prayers.
Our family was informed this afternoon that the partner of my God Daugher was one of the soldiers killed in Basra, Iraq on Sunday 11 Nov.
Royal Marine Corporal Ben Novak was killed when the patrol boat he was travelling in passed between 2 pontoons on the Shatt alArab Canal in Basra, Iraq triggered a bomb. Ben leaves behind his partner Louise (my God Daughter) and his 2 1/2 year old son Phillip. Ben's parents, who now live in Australia will be flying back to the UK this weekend to be with their family and friends. I ask that you find it in your hearts to say a little prayer for Ben, those who have been most affected by his death and the other victims of this incident. Ben had been in Iraq just 4 days of this tour of duty.
