Hello,
Will sound strange, but, am looking for one (possibly 2) jet engines for installation into a light weight sport plane. The purpose, besides proving it can be done, is to build a jet powered craft for reasonable costs. If you aren't into fullsize flying, then you may not know the costs of fullsize engines which run in the $20,000 range for used and go up from there.

Any info would be greatly appeciated.

Might check

http://www.usamt.com/

They have a full size glider running two amt 450's. If memory serves me correct it is classified as a Multi engine turbine by the FAA. Should be for some cheap time building.

The new sport license is for 100hp reciprocating engines only.

Otherwise you are under part91 of the FAR and are required the appropriate certification and type certificate.
