Well.. a turbine is porbably 20 years in your future... (if ever)

To get a true turbine aircraft in the air SAFELY... you need at least 3 years of flying experience.

You also need several years of building experience.

You also need to have flown models that are capable of sustained 190 mph + enough to be able to pass the fight test required by the AMA to get a turbine waiver. (even if you aren't an AMA member... if you can't pass that test... you better not fly a turbine or you will kill someone.)

You also need a $2500 turbine. a $500 to $3500 aircraft kit (first turbine model better be a kit... or ARF.. or you'll have something likely to explode from overstress in level flight.) a $300 to $2400 tradio system.. and then we start on the ground support equipment with a few of fire extinguishers and 2 golf carts carrying large extinguishers to try to stop the brush fire in case of a crash. (which means you need a 4 man support crew MINIMUM)

Legal is one thing... practical (or intelligent) is another...

LEGALLY... you can go down to the hobby shp and if they have one you can buy a RTF jet model with the turbine, radio.. the works, never having LOOKED at a model airplane before.

LEGALLY... you can get permission from someone to try to fly the thing frm thier property.

Practically... if you dd that... you'd have a 99.9995% chance of making a smoking crater.

*******

I said SAFELY... not legally...
