The Superman jet fly-in will be held at the Metropolis, Illinois airport October 1-6 this year. Amazing show put on by Jerry Caudle of Pro-Mark the rub-on decal people. Hope to be there on the 3rd and 4th of plans gel. Regards.

Where abouts is Metropolis, Illinois? How far from Indianapolis or Chicago...

Metropolis is at the far southern tip of Illinois. It's a little north and west of Paducah, Kentucky. From where I live it's about a 5 1/2 hour drive on interstate 57 and 24. From Indianapolis you would take I-70 to I-57 to I-24. Probably closer for you than for me. Well worth the drive if you want to see jet models (and flying) at their best. Regards.
