After three 1 hour sessions I soloed a first timer this past Sunday.

His plane???? A frikkin Durabrick aerobat. Can ya believe it? A .46 powered rocket of barely visible foam and pvc!
He had the ability to listen and act accordingly. He also has raced the RC cars before too. I feel that helped alot.
This guy was landing without bouncing or stopping his prop in no time flat!
Too bad he didn't see the scissors coming when I got his shirt tail.:D
I buy the AMA tie pins and issue them as "Wings" for soloers.

When I soloed they broke my prop:p!!

I'll get one up. The poor guy is still traumatized from the hog-tying to hold him down long enough to cut the whole back of his shirt out.

We don't break props. They do enough of that learning how to land.;)
