Is the Durplane suppose to fly like a bat out of Hell? Or is it my lack of expierence? A friend of mine flew it today and told me that the plane was dead on! and if I had modified the wing, I mean the plane is exactly as I got it from my Joda. Any way, the plane is extremely fast, even my pard told me the thing really boogies.

Now for my second question, the engine is a OS Max "H" .40, I cant find any info on this motor, she really SCREAMS!!

By the way, I had my longest flight today!! and my worst crash!! I buried the nose in the soft plowed field almost to the wing leading edge!!! Ripped the rudder out of the tail boom, and, naturally, the prop disintigrated!! Thank goodness I have a crate of 10x6 propellers!!! The plane is, again, repaired and ready for more antics tomorrow!!!

Try an 11x3 prop, and be sure the CG is not too far forward! If it's right on the mark, try moving it back just a little bit...

I'll try the prop to slow it down, its not that the aircraft reacts to the controls too fast, it just seems entirely to fast. It contols very nicely, positive reaction but still gracefull, my friend told me it handles and flys exceptionally well for a Duraplane.

Check out http://www.spadtothebone.com for ideas. There are several guys that I've heard of that have used the Spad building techniques to build different wings for their Dura Planes. If you go with a bigger wing span and more dihedral, it is very possible to tame your plane down some!
