You made a damn good choice! Have you heard all of the SE modifications? If not, let me know and I'll get the list over to you. Even if you build it stock, it's still one of the best planes ever made. :)

The plane is just about perfect if you build it stock, if you make some of these mods it can be even better!! Go here--->

Here are a few more. Depending on what kind of flying you like to do will determine if you want to do these. I like flying pattern maneuvers AND 3D. If you increase the length of the rudder and elevator by one inch and also add a counterbalance on the ends of each elevator half and on top of the rudder, it will make a HUGE difference in the way it performs. Adding a 1/2 inch to the ailerons helps and also makes the wing loading lower then it already would be. I cannot stand sanding the leading edges pf the control surfaces to bevel them for the hinges and 60 degrees of throw. I would just buy some tri-stock for the leading edge. DO NOT sand the trailing edfe of any of the surfaces. I also hate the stock pushrods. If you use wire rods, you will need to move where they exit and make some other mods. The stock pushrods will work, but it's up to you.

Nice website!

The SE pics look great! I also like all your other planes. That laser cutting is great isn't it? SIG also has great instructions. Got a color scheme picked out?

No blue? :(

Even without the blue it will look great!

I have yet to find another .40 sized airplane that looks as good as the Somethin' Extra...You may think there is one, but there isn't!

...Then you can get into how well they fly...
