Too bad theyre both electric. At least they're EDFs. If I was forced to choose one, it would be the Mig.

Definitely the Mig 21. HET has been around a while and has a pretty good rep. Replacement parts shouldn't be a problem if needed. Also, I like the fiberglass fuselage / sheeted foam wing construction. Should be a real screamer with the right power too:D

The down side of the Mig would be that you'd need to use a bungie launcher.

Either one would be nice though.

Let us knbow which one you choose hank.

Hi:prop: Dave
The Mig can be built with landing gear, heres the same plane different colors and markings with them

Hank, I was aware of the fixed gear option, but not the fact that you've had problems with bungie launching.

Sorry.:sadwalk:

Hi:prop: Dave
The few times ive used them i met with less than stellar results:crash::4366:
That was years ago so maybe now i would fair better
The edf units were very weak back then so that may have been the problem and not the method of launching

F9F and that wing will offer more user friendly handling characteristics and likely to last longer.

As Ditchwitch says - "Get both"

But if you can't, then I'd say the Mig 21 looks great, but is trumpped by the F9F.
