I have heard from a very reliable source that traxxis fuel does not have enough lubricant in it when it is made. There fore it runs hotter hurts more parts and so on.Has anyone else heard anything like this.

Traxxis fuel is made for RC car engines and yes it's lower on oil content and higher on nitro.

Yes i realize its for cars but i thought they are higher reving and run hotter so wouldnt you want more lube.

Most car fuel is between 16 and 18% oil content. Almost all plane fuel is 20% Don't ask me why, but that's the way we make it.:3509: All I know for a fact is the planes need a tad more lube!

I have heard this before. I understand that car engines only run at full load very briefly and spend more time off throttle. Unlike a marine or airplane engine that is under constant load. I believe they also run very rich so a lot of fuel is being pushed through the engine ensuring plenty of lube.
We should also look into all the manufacturers that use volume to mix their fuel since weight mixing will give low oil and nitro .
I hear SIG uses volume and their fuels work great.
