I was talking with Johnny Quest & RC guy last night about a plane I had purchased and they had not heard of it. I took a few quick pics and posted them in my photo album. Thought I would share them with the rest of you.

I beleve that is an older ARF that did not last very long called SuperKraft. What is the Wingspan and what color is the bottom of the wing?

This is probably a good place for them. Frequenty Asked Questions was not a good place for them. :-)

AM willing to bet three burned out glowplugs aginst a stale glazed donut it is a SuperKraft. I never saw the original airplane but I know that wing. Here is my SuperKraft, wing anyway, mine is even the same color. Those black bands I put over the original white bands and the bottom of the wing is that same dark blue as your fuselage band. The first picture holding the airplane is DennisPannell (RCH) was the original owner of the SK My Gag plane is a completely different fuselage set up to loose its stabilizer in flight.

Huh? So ho do you control the plane with no HS? Do you use the same control system as a flying wing?
Cool stuff JB!

Yes Elevons just like any flying wing but you have to be careful when the Stab is still on as it is just barely controllable at low power and holding substancial down untill it is gone then you can get silly. Thats why the holes in the stab.

Yes, You have to have a rehersed act with your caller. Takeoff is about 1/3 throttle flown a slow patten holding almost full down very staid looking and folks going ho hum. after one slow pass on the next one You release the stab stage center about twenty foot high, a spring snaps it downward at the leading edge popping it off making a very audible snapping noise then pitch straight up and go full throttle. At that point you start holloring to the caller to 'give me down trim, who in turn fakes it and the more motormouthed he is the better holloring dumb questions like 'you got it and what happened' Dennis used to be very good at that :D
The rest of the flight should not be more than another minute and is a series of inside and outside pitch tumbles. Which can be made interesting with the powerful rudder which most wings don,t have. The approach to landing is done while rolling the elevon stick in a circular fashion. The airplane is a boinger for real and i have never made a smooth landing with it but it just adds to the gag. At shut down its best to wipe your forehead an mumble something like 'I can.t beleve it. I can,t beleve it.
Oh and never admit its a gag even when folks know better just like Wrong Way Corrigan flying his Curtiss Robin back in the thirtys to Ireland instead of Los Angeles from Roosevelt field claiming a faulty compass.
