Hello I was wondering if someone could help me out. I have acquired an F4 phantom Ducted fan Model and I need to find out who produced the model eg(BYRON,etc...).

These are the approx. specs that I have.

Wingspan- 52.5 inches
Length- 72 inches
Height(no gear)-16"
Control surfaces- Stabilators and ailerons
Construction- Fuselage (Fibreglass)
Wings (Balsa covered foam)
Stab (Balsa)

3 inch Main wheel wells, 2 hardpoints, rigged for air retracts.

I need this information in order to proceed with weight and balance and other control information.

I appreciate any help

Thank you.

Chris

PS - I am an Aircraft Maintenance technician up in Canada. I would be more than happy to help anyone out with problems they may have.

Chris, the few I know of are

BVM 80" in length <85" with E nose>
57 " Span approx 25 lbs.

Yellow's is 68" length & 43 1/2 span

Jet Hanger hobbies is 68" length and 44" span

Byron < Ironbay Model Company never did the f-4 < someone please correct me if I'm wrong here>

You have any retracts with it? if so are they scale like?

Anyway to post any pics?

I am thinking about adding robart retracts and attching landing lights and realistic strut covers. No pics. No scanner.

Thank you for your quick reply.

Maybe I got the wingspan wrong.

I'm assuming there is no fan/eng/pipe combo just the basic airframe? Maybe if you include the inlet dia. size, thrust tube matieral, etc etc maybe someone can jump in here and tell you what you have. I only know about the above models. But there are many more mfg's that did the F-4.

Good luck !!
