Hi Hank,
Still in n out of the hospital as usual. My RC club just gave me free dues for 2008 since I was unable to fly at all in 2007.
At least on the good days I now have more energy and have started doing plane PM and working on a few previously started construction products.
It's good to be able to do a few things again.
On the down side, when I do get admitted, it is usually to intensive care.
LIFE IS GOOD
KEEP EM FLYING
gvr-4579 10-05-2007, 08:29 PM Wow i am very impressed, i didnt know you would get enought airflow over the control surfaces to hover a jet like that.

G'Day SCRATCH it is good to see you back on the RCH
Nice of your club to give you membership for 2008
Awesome video i always thought jets were a little boring they just seemed to go fast then turn then repeat climb fast then repeat then land
This video throws that thoery so far out the window i cant see it anymore
I will definately be paying more attention to jets from now on !
hope to have you back on line more often health permitting of course
As Hank said
Your in my thoughts and in my prayers
Take care my friend
I think that goes for all

You are correct, you can't. It's done with thrust vectoring just like the full scale Mig 29. Here's a link with more info on the jet ( note, home page is down right now but wil hopefully be back up soon. ). http://www.sebart.it/!-html/hot-news.htm
Best wishes and prayers to you Scratch.
Dave
Cheymike 10-06-2007, 02:26 PM If you guys think its impressive to watch that model hover, you should see a full scale Raptor do it!!! WOW!!!!
*edit* just made myself laugh.... i'm gonna be jabbering about the Gathering for a long time.... LOL

gvr-4579 10-06-2007, 04:09 PM Thrust vectoring on a scale model hmmm, that makes that model alot neater than it already was. Hopefully the page comes back up soon id like to see that.
