Seems that my original thread is now too old (over 38 days) for me to post in, so I guess I'll start again.

I have now completed posting my pictures from a recent field day at Jet Action, Monarto (South Australia), so those of you with an interest in jets, or just like something a little different, then have a look at my Gallery at: http://www.rchangout.com/gallery/showgallery.php/cat/557

Very good pics Wombat. Thanks!

I recognize most of the jets in your pics but this one has me stumped. Any idea what it is?

Yes, indeed I do. It's a Specta (well that's what I was told on the day), powered by an OS-91. Looks and acts like a jet but sounds and smells like a ducted fan jet glow engine. It flew beautifully.

An amazing day full of photo opportunities for someone with a reasonable zoom lens (200mm+) and a fast shutter speed. So thanks for the compliments. Mind you, shooting handheld at 200mm (digital) is an interesting excersise when such small objects are moving so fast - so I won't say anything about the shots I discard.

I managed to identify all the jets on the day except for the last one pictured in the gallery. I emailed the club who held the event but they never got back to me with the details, so it just shows as Unidentified Jet.

Thanks for the info David.

I looked in your gallery and the photo below was the last one I found. If this is the jet in question it's a Nitromodels Bobcat. http://www.nitroplanes.com/yeusbo5051ni.html

Yup, they ripped the name directly from the BVM Bobcat but "Uncle Bob" is aware of it and since the plane isn't in competition with his stuff he doesn't seem to care.
