Last weekend I visited the Jet Action day at Monarto. This was a 2 day competition with entrants from all over Australia. Monarto, which is around 75 kilometres east of Adelaide, South Australia, has one of the best fields around. I could only attend the Saturday so didn't get to see the full field of jets in action.
It was fascinating though as I'd never seen them before. It's quite an expensive hobby line to follow, I gather, so I may be sticking with my Glow models for a little longer.
They are fast. And the noise is terrific. I'm glad I visited.
And naturally, I took along my camera. I am still in the process of downloading pictures to the gallery, but there are quite a few there already. Have a look at: http://www.rchangout.com/gallery/showgallery.php/cat/557
