A very dedicated modeller in Germany has finished his SU 27 project. 6 years in the making, so much scale it is unbeliveable (no vectored thrust though).
here is a video of him carrying out taxi and control tests and adjustments. No flight video yet, but when he puts it up I will add to this thread.

Watching that video is like going to McDonald's buying a Big Mac and not eating it. Where's the satisfaction?

What a plane though! So unbelievable.

Yes, I have to agree it would not be very fun flying something that took that long to build. You'd always be afraid of crashing it. Then there goes six years work... :D A beautiful plane though. I'm looking forward to seeing it fly. :)

Awesome plane Merlin keep us posted please. That many years and $ along with the ability required, I've burnt Two tanks of fuel making certain of controls and ground handeling, and have never had an investment like that.

AWESOME!!! I sure hope he doesn't try to apply that airbrake while the thing is still flying though.. that's gonna cause one hell of a change in pitch attitude. Was fun watching it work though.. and the canopy too. What a heck of a job. I bet it was really a lot of work, but a lot of FUN building that.
