I and finishing up the Golberg "Cub" I started 15 years ago and am building the "Clipped Wing" version with an OS .61. Back then I bought a pre-made fiberglass cowl from some guy that advertised in Model airplane news. Anybody out there build a cub that could post some close-up picture of the cowl area and would be willing to offer suggestions on how I could mount the cowl would be appreciated.
Thanks

I've got the Hangar 9 80 inch span Cub, and although I don't have any pictures of it, I do have some suggestions on mounting the cowling.

I used servo screws to mount mine but I noticed that these back out in flight. To solve this, I took the cowling off and inserted a small section of Sulivan Golden Rod into each hole where the screw was. I had to drill the hole out a bit. Then, take it out again. Put a small drop of CyA in each hole( the hole in the wood, not the pice of Golden Rod) and put the pieces back in each hole. Make sure they are flush with the surface. If your using a larger screw, then you need to get a piece of pushrod tubing or something simmilar.

Hope this helps!
